Lady Bits - A Pelvic Floor Workshop

At the start of the workshop we will cover the basic anatomy of the pelvic floor, and gain an understanding of the relationship between the pelvic floor and the core. We will discuss the role of the pelvic floor and how this role can change and adapt during certain stages of life.

In the second part of our workshop we will engage in a practical session to embody the correct movement and understanding of these muscles. We will cover exercises to improve and strengthen the pelvic floor as well as those exercises to avoid if we are experiencing dysfunction.

This workshop is not just about education and information, it has been designed to encourage communication and conversation around this very important area of a woman’s body and to normalise the issues experienced by all of us during all stages of life.
